* Ingredients
°1 1/2 cups mashed ripe bananas
°2 teaspoons lemon juice
°3 cups flour
°1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
°1/4 teaspoon salt
°3/4 cup soft butter
°2 1/8 cups sugar
°3 large eggs
°2 teaspoons vanilla
°1 1/2 cups milk
+frost:
°1/2 cup soft butter
°1 package (8 ounces) soft cream cheese
°1 teaspoon vanilla
°3 12 cups powdered sugar
* How to make it :
1 Preheat oven to 275°F/135°C.
2 Grease a 9 x 13 bowl of flour.
3 In bowl, mix mash bananas with lemon juice. Sit apart.
4 In bowl, blend flour, baking soda, // salt. Sit apart .
5 In bowl, cream 3/4 C butter & 2 1/8 C sugar To light // fluffy.
6 Beat the eggs, one at a time, then add 2 teaspoons vanilla.
7 Beat the flour mixture alternately with the milk.
8 stir with banana mixture
9 Pour mixture to prepared pan also bake in preheated oven about 1 h
10 Remove from the oven and place directly in the freezer for 45 minutes. This will make the cake very moist.
11 To make buttercream, beat butter and cream cheese until smooth.
12 Whisk in 1 teaspoon vanilla.
13 Adding powder sugar & beat on low speed To blended, then on high speed To frost is smooth.
14 Spread on a cooled cake.
15 Sprinkle chopped walnuts over the garnish, if desired (or hearts!).
