Homemade Corn Dogs


°1 cup yellow cornmeal

°1 cup all-purpose flour/plain flour

°1/4 cup sugar

°1 tablespoon baking powder

°1/4 teaspoon salt

°1 scrambled egg

°1 1/2 cups buttermilk (regular milk works too)

°1 tablespoon vegetable oil

°1 tablespoon honey

°1 (10 pcs) hot dog package

°10 wooden sticks or skewers

°2 liters vegetable oil for frying

* Directions :

1- In  large bowl, adding oil.

2- Set heat to heat also heat oil to 350 degrees F .

3- In  bowl, adding cornstarch / flour /sugar, baking powder // salt. * Stir jointly.

4- Then adding beaten eggs, milk, oil // honey.

5- Stir until smooth. 

6- Remove the hot dog from the package.

7- Wiipe them all dried with paper-towel 

8- Insert one wooden stick to each sausage.

9- Pour the mixture into a tall drinking glass.

10- Grab hot dog by skewer also dip it in mixture, covering all hot dogs.

11- Slowly remove mixture from the mixture and let a little of the excess mixture drip into the cup.

12- Directly placing it in hot oil when keep to hold stick.

13- Flip as necessary to brown all sides.

14- Cooking about 2-3 min, or to they turn dark golden brown.

15- Removing from hot oil also placing on paper towels to drain grease.

16- Repeat with all hot dogs.
