CHOCOLATE-PECAN-TURTLE-CLUSTERS



These Chocolate Turtles are easy to prepare and easy to cook.

* Ingredients :

° 48 pecan halves (get a little extra in case the breaks a bit)
° 28 individually wrapped caramel
° 1 tablespoon of cream
° 1 1/4 c sweet chocolate chips (I use Ghirardelli chips)
° 1 teaspoon coconut oil (optional)

* Methods : 

Line a large piece of parchment with parchment.Arrange the walnuts with twelve crosses to highlight the four legs.Peel the caramel and place in a microwave safe bowl.Do not use a container that is too small.You should be able to move it easily. Add cream and microwave on 50% power for 30 seconds if heat has not melted for 15 seconds at 50% power interval. Stir every now and then.Mix well and place a tablespoon of filling in the middle of each batch of seeds.Let cool for at least 10 minutes.Melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil in the microwave for 1 minute at 50% power.Stir until the bowl is very hot.Continue to heat for 15-30 seconds at 50% until completely melted.Stir occasionally to keep the pan from overheating.Spoon the caramel with chocolate; Smooth and roll with the back of a spoon.Let stand completely for a few hours.You can refrigerate the turtle to speed up the process.
