Fried mushrooms


°10 ounces fresh whole mushrooms

°1 cup flour

°½ cup cornstarch

°¾ tsp baking powder

°¼ tsp salt

°1 cup water

°2 c breadcrumbs (preferably panko)

* Methods :

Step 1: In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, cornstarch and salt. Add the water and stir until smooth. Dip the mushrooms in the dough and coat evenly. Drain the excess dough.

Step 2: Roll the mushrooms in the breadcrumbs until well coated. Repeat until all the mushrooms are coated.

Step 3: Heat the fryer to 365 degrees. Fry the mushrooms in batches until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
