*INGREDIENTS:
°500 grams. Lean ground beef.
°2 large spoons. Seasoning for tacos.
°Canned crescent rolls, I used a box.
°Mix of Mexican cheeses, I used one cup, but you add more if you want.
+Toppings: You can use what you have!!!
°Diced tomatoes.
°Chopped lettuce.
°Sliced avocado.
°Chopped cilantro
*DIRECTIONS:
1st step :
Cook the ground beef in a skillet until browned and skim off any excess fat.
2nd step:
Stir in taco spices and 1/4 cup water until well blended, and cook an additional 5 minutes over low heat.
3rd step:
Then you need to roll out the dough on a baking sheet and squeeze all the gaps while cooking the meat.
4th step:
Add the meat in a strip along the middle of the dough, leaving about 2 inches on either side of the center strip of dough, then finish with a generous sprinkle of cheese.
5th step:
Using a pizza cutter, cut the dough into 1 inch wide strips at the top and bottom!
6th step:
Take one strip from each side and cross it over the filling in a braid-like pattern, tucking one end over the filling. Excess dough can be tucked underneath or used to fill in gaps that seem empty.
7th step:
Bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees or until top is golden brown.
8th step:
Remove from oven and, if desired, top with more cheese. Serve with sour cream and salsa, then top with your favorite taco toppings!
Enjoy !
