Pecan Pie Bars

This recipe is actually a pecan pie but with a speed of execution that even the godiche transformed into a vampire could not match!

For about twenty squares:

°115g of butter
°175g flour
°130g brown sugar
°2 eggs
°50g pecans (80g for me), crushed
°170g golden syrup
°1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Melt 25 g of butter in the microwave, leave to cool.
In the bowl of your robot equipped with a blade, put the flour, 40g of sugar and the remaining butter in cubes, mix until you get crumbs, pour them into a square mold with a removable bottom 23 cm on each side, pack with your fingers and bake for 15 minutes at 180°C.
Meanwhile, still in the robot fitted with the blade, place the eggs then the remaining sugar, the melted butter, the golden syrup and the vanilla extract, mix.
Place the preparation on the shortbread layer then return to the oven for 15 minutes, the bars must be golden.

Leave to cool and cut into squares.
