An easy, all-natural candy apple-style apple recipe, dipped in real salted caramel and garnished as you see fit.
* Ingredients :
3 Golden apples
9 tbsp brown sugar
salt 1 large pinch
4 tbsp of salted butter
2 tbsp of liquid cream
* Preperation :
STEP 1
Peel the apples, cut them into quarters, core them, then cut them into strips that are neither too thin nor too thick.
2ND STEP
In a skillet, heat 2 large tablespoons of salted butter. Add the apple slices and brown them over high heat for 1 to 2 minutes.
STEP 3
Add 5 tablespoons of brown sugar and cook over low heat for a good 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
STEP 4
Meanwhile in a small saucepan, melt 2 tablespoons of salted butter, add 4 tablespoons of brown sugar and 1 good pinch of salt.
STEP 5
Let your caramel set, and add 2 tablespoons of liquid cream, stirring vigorously, the caramel should have a nice beige color.
STEP 6
On plates, arrange the apples and drizzle the caramel over them.
