The original German potato pancakes, Kartoffelpuffer, are delightfully crunchy and delicious, they're fun to make and even more delicious to eat!
* Ingredients :
° (2) eggs
° 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
° ½ teaspoon baking powder
° Half a teaspoon of salt
° Half a teaspoon pepper
° (6) medium potatoes, peeled and diced
° ½ cup finely chopped onion
° Half a cup of vegetable oil
* Directions :
Whisk eggs, flour, baking powder, salt and pepper in a large bowl. Then mix the potatoes and onions.
In skillet, heat oil on heat. Put heaping tablespoons of the potato mixture in batches into the skillet, pressing to flatten. Cook each side until browned and crunchy, 3 minutes. Lay out paper towels.

German potato pancakes can be eaten sweet or savory. They are often eaten with applesauce, other fruit compote, or powdered sugar, but are often eaten as part of a meal with yoghurt or meat sauce.
Use a grater or a food processor to finely grate the potatoes. You are not looking for thick threads
