Maybe all the seasonal changes happen in March, but I seem to be more busy these days and time in the kitchen is scarce. But that doesn't mean my family is looking for frozen pizza, ready-made meals, or an endless array of leftovers.
* Ingredients :
° 1 p fettuccine
° 1 p deveined, peel shrimp
° Essence Creole Seasoning (Find a single grocery story by spice)
° 1 package of Andouille sausage
° 1 cup onion cut into cubes
° 1 cup green pepper cut into cubes
° 2 tablespoons minced garlic
° 1 cup chicken broth
° 1 cup heavy cream
° 1 tablespoon dried thyme
° 1 tablespoon dried basil
° 1 1/2 c grated cheese parmesan
* Preparation :
Cook the fettuccine noodles (when cooked, drain and set aside)
Season shrimp with creole seasoning and fry in a frying pan until almost cooked (use olive oil)
Remove the shrimp from the fire and set aside
Fry onions and green peppers (3 minutes)
Add sausage to skillet (cook for 1 minute)
Add garlic to skillet (cook for 1 minute)
Add chicken broth (cook for 1 minute)
Add thyme, 1 tablespoon Creole seasoning, 1/2 teaspoon salt (cook for 2 minutes)
Add heavy cream (cook for 2 minutes)
Add shrimp and pasta (cook for 5 minutes or until sauce thickens)
Add the basil and Parmesan cheese.
