MAPLE BACON CRACK




*Ingredients


°8 slices bacon

°1 roll of tube crescent

°1/4 cup pure maple syrup

°3/4 cup light brown sugar, packed

°1/3 cup chopped pecans


*Directions


Cook bacon until soft; not crispy. I baked mine in a 400 degree F. oven for 18 minutes. Drain bacon and chop; set aside.

Preheat oven 375 degrees F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Coat with cooking spray.

Roll the croissants on parchment paper. Pinch the seams to form a single sheet. Prick the croissants dough with a fork.

Spread half of the maple syrup on the dough with a pastry brush.

Spread 3/4 cup brown sugar evenly over top.

Garnish with chopped bacon and chopped pecans.

Drizzle with maple syrup.

Bake for 22-25 minutes.

Cool, cut into pieces and serve.
