Italian stromboli

* Ingredients :

°1 x pilsbury pizza crust tube

°8 slices deli ham

°10 slices Genoa salami

°12 slices pepperoni sandwich

°8 slices provolone or mozzarella cheese

(You could definitely use grated cheese too)

°2 tablespoons of butter

°2 chopped garlic gloves

°2 teaspoons chopped parsley

°3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese

* Methods :

Melt the butter in the microwave and stir in the chopped garlic, parsley and Parmesan cheese. Set aside

I lined my plate with parchment paper.

Stretch the pizza crust to almost the size of your baking sheet.

Superimpose the cold cuts.

Layer cheese last.

Roll the Stromboli long wise and make sure to seal the seam well.

Seal the ends well. Pinch and mold the excess dough on the bottom of the Stromboli.

Mark the top a few times with a serrated knife (to allow steam to escape during cooking).

Top stromboli with garlic butter mixture.

Cook the Stromboli as directed on the back of the pizza dough you are using.

*I found that it’s the same cooking time as if you were using it for a regular pizza… but you just don’t want to cook it as it says on the tube.

*I know the typical Stromboli has red sauce, but I don’t like it inside, I like to dip mine in it! You could very well use it indoors if you wish!

Enjoy !
