Lemon Pound Cake

The Ritz-Carlton Lemon Pound Cake - The Only Lemon Pound Cake Recipe You'll Ever Need! It tastes amazing! This recipe never let me down is a great dessert for the crowd. Served with vanilla ice cream and fresh fruit.

* Ingredients :

° 3 cups all-purpose flour
° 1 tablespoon baking powder
° Half a teaspoon of salt
° 3 cups of sugar
° 1 c un-salted butter
° Half a cup of ghee at room temperature
° 5 large eggs
° 1 cup full fat milk
° 6 tablespoons lemon juice
° 1 lemon, ½ grated

* Directions:

Heat oven 350 degres f . Sprinkle or 2 loaf pans or a large butter and flour tray.Siift flour, powder baking, and salt to a medium bowl. Sit apart .Whisk in the butter, buttermilk and sugar.Adding eggs 1 at a time, beating well every time.Add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture in three portions, alternating with milk, starting with the flour mixture and ending with it. Beat on low speed just until blended after each addition. Mix in lemon juice and peel.Pour mix to prepared Molds. Bake the cake until a tester inserted in the center comes out clean, about 55 minutes. Leave the cake to cool in the pans for 15 minutes. Invert cakes onto racks and leave to cool completely.
